CIRIA have recently launched two new guides - one complements CIRIA’s SuDS Manual, and provides practical advice about how to build SuDs, whilst the other concerns delivering green infrastructure along linear assets.

The SuDS guidance document, has been created to support and provide greater confidences to those designing, specifying and constructing SuDS by helping them to understand and avoid common pitfalls  experienced through the delivery process. 

Well-designed and managed green infrastructure installed alongside linear assets such as road and rail networks can reduce whole-life costs and add many benefits. This new guide, published by CIRIA, is the first phase of a project to identify and share good practice in planning, management and retrofitting. For more details, click here.
